Invent the Time

universe

Enveloping the embodiment of all the things you find dear. Make a collage of gratitude perhaps one of feelings or attitudes. Destroy destructive behaviors by first acknowledging them and next getting to the base or foundation of what is holding up that belief for you. Is it societal pressure? Well, can you remove that from yourself? Remembering oxidative stress is a killer, lower your stress response with simple breathing. Our channel had quite a mental stigma about breath, the fear of having none, the realization of death as an ever eminent inevitability that lurks close enough yet just far enough away that the conscious mind does not literally acknowledge its possibility until met face to face. Feeling full of oneself will do nothing but energize a field of separation of better than mentality. This can easily be avoided.

Use your intuitive insight to adjust your reactions and their subsequent reactions. Finding time to focus on self without the distraction of life events that rain down non-stop, invent the time. Oh, here is some time, I just found some more, envision yourself with all the time in the world. How many moments have made up your time on this planet? Experience time at your leisure by your rules. Sourcing the proper nutrition will be a main concern for a large percent of the population. How can one feed all the populations of the world? Ah, by realization of the unfettered nature of mind and the infinite resources of this universe and its connection to other universes. Envelope is the key, fully surround yourself and emerse in the knowing that is your birthright.

Create an atmosphere honoring truth and kindness these attributes are seldom unwelcome. Energize the field of consciousness, which allows expansion, instead of fear and contraction. Withdraw into everything you’ve ever known or expand into the field of all possibilities. How will you craft your future? Be wise to act before the decision is made for you. How many excuses does it take to realize your comfort zone is no longer that comfortable. It’s actually on fire and its time to jump to the next lily pad, oh you waited too long to jump? Well now I guess you have to swim. Good luck froggy, choose well for the path you are on you chose. ~hc

Immune Function

yin

Yoga appears to improve immune function in part by lowering levels of the stress hormone cortisol, and yoga asana may boost immunity by improving the circulation of lymph, a fluid rich in disease-fighting white blood cells like lymphocytes.

Yoga encourages healthy behavioral change to long-term health…the best overall preventative medicine there is.

MBSR – Mindfulness-based-stress-reduction is a group program that focuses upon the progressive acquisition of mindful awareness.

CBSM – Cognitive-behavioral-stress-management includes relaxation, group support, and instruction on coping strategies.

Heirloom Corn

OaxacanGreenDentCorn

A visually eye-popping emerald green corn, originally a Zapotec heirloom. Grown for centuries, the ears were traditionally used to make green flour, for use in tamales and other foods. Like some of the other dent flour corns, Oaxacan Green Dent is also nicely drought resistant.

Dent corns are characterized by a dent or crease in the kernel, hence the Indian name “she-corn.” This type of corn is starchy and is generally used for roasting, corn bread, and hominy. It is a type best acclimated to the South and Southwest, where it seems to have developed the greatest number of varieties.

A century ago, there was more heirloom corn on the market than there is today, a direct correlation to current farming practices. A lot of corn varieties were contaminated with genetically modified corns and people switching to hybrids in the 1950s.

Apricot

apricots

Apricots are rich in other antioxidants, too, including polyphenolic antioxidants like flavonoids. Diets rich in flavonoids and the other types of polyphenols found in apricots have been linked to reductions in heart disease in humans.

The Hunza people’s habit of consuming large amounts of apricot may be responsible in protecting them against tumors. Apricot seeds are rich in vitamin B-17 which has anticancer properties, and from the seeds they make oil. Hunza people live in the mountains of northern Pakistan, there are about 87,000, and are special because they live an average of a hundred years.

Blackberries

blackberry

High antioxidant levels in blackberries, strawberries, and other berries may help prevent age-related memory loss.

Loaded with vitamin C and low in calories, blackberries are also rich in vitamins A, E, K, and B vitamins, as well as antioxidants lutein and zeaxanthin, which scavenge free radicals and reactive oxygen species (ROS) that play a role in aging and chronic diseases. They are one of the best high-ORAC (oxygen radical absorbance capacity) foods available.

Bananas

banana-cutting

The unique mix of vitamins, minerals, and low glycemic carbohydrates in bananas has made them a favorite fruit among endurance athletes. Bananas are a good source of potassium, an essential mineral for maintaining normal blood pressure and heart function.

Even though bananas are a fruit that tastes quite sweet when ripe—containing 14-15 grams of total sugar—bananas receive a rating of low in their glycemic index (GI) value. GI measures the impact of a food on our blood sugar.

Peach

peach

Rich in phytochemicals called phenols, fresh peaches are high in antioxidants, ranging from lycopene to vitamin C to chlorogenic acid.

The presence of chlorogenic acid in peaches also contribute to their protective effects. Antioxidants such as lutein, zeaxanthin, and beta-crytoxanthin help in scavenging the oxygen-derived free radicals and protect the body against the harmful effects of various diseases.

Peaches also offer a rich treasure of minerals such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, manganese, phosphorous, zinc, and copper. Peaches are low in calories, contain no saturated fat or cholesterol, and are a good source of dietary fiber.

Guava

guava

Guavas contain 5X more vitamin-C than oranges.

As extremely good sources of vitamin-A, which is well known to boost vision, guava is very high in roughage and rich in vitamins, proteins and minerals, but it has no cholesterol and a low number of digestible carbohydrates.

Guavas are a good source for copper, which is an important part of regulating thyroid metabolism by helping to control hormone production and absorption. Another of the tremendous positive benefits of guavas is the presence of B3 and B6 vitamins. B3 (also known as niacin) can increase blood flow and stimulates cognitive function.
